Hats for the Homeless

It's finals week at Grinnell (my college), so my knitting club Stitch n' Bitch threw a study break! We decided to make hats for an organization based out of St. Paul, Minnesota - my hometown - called Hats for the Homeless. Hats are pretty quick, and since they are for charity students aren't committed to finishing an entire project - they can knit however little or much they want and then the next person can take over! My friend Clara drew this poster for the event!

The study break went really well! We had a pretty steady flow of people coming and going, and there are three completely finished hats and about eight that still need work. As an added incentive I also made cookies and brownies because ya know what it's finals!
